Wow abacus of violent odds12/6/2023 The Proc from the set bonus of these two weapons = +450 Haste Tasteless IMO.Ĭommentaire de ThottbotHmm, I've been thinking.Īlthough the chance to get all this happening is stupidly rare. maybe the greatest threat in BC, but probably (and sadly) the last one before WLK. You have your orange item ready-for-use, on you Illidan corpse. requiring making plenty of things (go for several bosses, requiring transmutations and a awesome ammount of farming, going out to make outdoor encounters, surrounded with beautiful lore).Īll that made once the difference between ORANGE and a simple purple objets, wich were directly equiped once picked-up from a boss (or maybe needed to be exchanged at a single PNJ on a few clics). In pre-BC, having a legendary involved a player and its whole guild into a true quest etc. _ some details aren't in common knowledge (thing with smelting Elementium) etc. _ large amount of reagents needed (the 100 arcanite per TF used to make monney to plenty alchimists) (low droprate at MC, or dropped from AQ40 and Naxx final boss) You all know the ways of getting the 3 pre-BC legendaries (quest line for having the Sulfuron Plans, questlines for the ThunderFurry and Atiesh). I would like to deal with something completly different than just stats and class issues about this BC legendary. So I think it's not only the über stats combined with the set bonus and appearance that makes them legendary, but the tragic and brutal history they have, as well :)Ĭommentaire de Thottbot1st: legendaries are not desenchantable. That means Illidan took the blades with him for his 10000 year imprisonment, and was apparently able to reach them, since wowwiki announces that "Over the millennia, Illidan grew more and more adept with the demonic weapons, and likely became more proficient with them than their original owner." Thereafter, he used them to fight Maiev, Arthas and other notable people and they were present as he united with Kil'jaeden and eventually Kael'thas and Lady Vashj, as seen in Frozen Throne. As an average karazhan raider never even dreaming about advancing past Magtheridon, I'm far more interested in the lore that actually makes these beauties legendary.Īccording wowwiki Illidan received the blades from doomguard commander Azzinoth in the war of the ancients when he was still fighting for night elves, before betraying them by revealing their plans to Sargeras. It's because they were weapons that are well known and are suppose to be legendary (but ya blizz had to make this a bit better then everything else cause "Illidan" weilds them) meaning stop complaining ur class doesn't get itĪlso i applaud for Blizz doin this cause im sick of seeing people yelling its a certain class item and these people havn't even seen a real raid instance.Ĭommentaire de ThottbotStill wondering why all discussion on concerning the blades are about stats and class priorities. they have been in warcraft lore forever they aren't legendary because they beat the hell out of everything else in dps and damage. If you guys look at other gear that drops on Illidan has close dps to this just a little lower because These are the "Twin Blades of Azzinoth" not some more loot. Most people complaints about hunters is that every time a rogue/warrior epic or in this case a legendary comes out on Allakhazam or Thottbot, noob hunters (who probly havn't hit 60 yet.) yell "HUNTER ITEM!" but i nvr had problems with hunters myself cause most hunters i go with aren't but i have had problems with Feral druids and warriors lol (of course.) i have had 1 problem with a really noob pally (ticked me off)ģ. Your probly not in a guild who even started on Karazhan and if u are in a guild like this it doesn't matter cause u got Vashj, Kael'Thas, Hyjall, and many other things before u even see a hint of BT lol.Ģ. ![]() If ur a hunter who says hes gonna roll for this. If you had the Abacus bonus on as well then HR = (450 + 260), and performing the calculation again yields ~1.49 effective speed.Ĭommentaire de Allakhazamrofl some theres some noobs out there.ġ. So the main hand Warglaive goes from 2.8 to 1.67 (+67% attack speed) speed with Slice and Dice and the set proc. Slice and Dice (+30%) and Warglaive Set Proc (+450 rating) on the main hand Warglaive (2.8 speed): HRC = Haste Rating Conversion (at 70 this is 15.6 per +1%) are percent modifiers (Slice and Dice, Blade Flurry, Mongoose Proc, etc) The general formula for determining new weapon speed is: Percent Haste Modifiers are multiplicative, and Haste Rating is summed then converted into a percent then multiplied by the other percent modifiers. Commentaire de 61302 Updated to reflect haste rating changes in patch 2.2:
